The KOLORIT L1600 pendant delivers a clean and stylish look by combining simple shapes and adding a striking element of colour. It is dynamic and playful yet architectural and simplistic. KOLORIT L1600 offers potential to inject a stylish touch of colour into your interior.

This pendant is ideal for hotels, restaurants, reception areas or cafés.

Architect Jørgen Klinkby designed KOLORIT back in 1992. This light is now being relaunched by Klinkby Design and Lampas in 2025 with a focus on original materials. As part of its relaunch, the light is now manufactured in Denmark. Architect and manufacturer have selected four inspiring colours to combine with the basic white pendant design: RAL colours turquoise blue (5018), zinc yellow (1018), salmon pink (3022) and sky blue (5015).

The pendant light is available in two sizes: the large KOLORIT pendant is Ø340 mm and 257 mm in height, while the small version is Ø200 mm and 241 mm in height.

The KOLORIT L1600 pendant offers a distinctive look for professional lighting. It provides colourful, stylish and welcoming lighting design for hotels, restaurants and cafés. The light itself is simple and pleasing to the eye whether on or off.

When lit, the colour aspect brings added impact and energy to KOLORIT, showing another side to its distinctive personality.

The simple geometric shapes and quality materials produce a stylish, architectural pendant. At the same time, there is something playful about the way in which the disc and two cylinders combine, and this is accentuated by the colours. Each colour brings its own ambience, resulting in inspiring interplay with the rest of the interior.

Small and medium pendant for professional lighting

The small and large versions of the pendant each have their own look, making them suited to a variety of uses in lighting design. The small KOLORIT L1600-200 model is compact and ideal as a focal point. You also have the option of grouping several together. Lighting groups can be used as a decorative feature, but can also be a handy solution for stairs and other locations where you want more illumination than a single light can provide.

KOLORIT L1600-340 is the large version, with a wide top disc that appears to float, giving it a tranquil look. The white disc reflects light downwards onto a table or into a room.

Both lights use an E27 light source. This allows you to select the light source, colour temperature, etc. most appropriate for your project.

KOLORIT L1600 adds to the Danish tradition of pendant-light design with its soft, evocative illumination. The light source is shielded, with the light spilling out from between the components. KOLORIT provides attractive lighting, whether suspended above a table or close to a wall.
