OCO L1500 BOLLARD LIGHT

The OCO L1500 bollard is a Danish design created by design studio Cobe. The clean-cut yet playful shape of this bollard is formed by two balanced tubes. When darkness falls, OCO L1500 provides warm, well-defined downward illumination, guiding pedestrians and cyclists safely on their way.

OCO L1500 has the look of a simple tube emerging from the ground, severed and offset so the inner light can escape. Even though the light appears free from technology – there is no visible hatch or screws – it is easy to install. The tube is mounted on a base containing the connection box and base flange.

The offset position of the two tubes gives OCO its name. Seen from above, it forms the letters OCO.

Danish-design light bollard

The designers behind the bollard, Danish studio Cobe, have created a bollard light with a focus on mindful resource consumption and low light pollution. Among other details, they chose a standard tube size for their design. This reduces material wastage in production and also means that OCO L1500 blends easily with other elements in the urban landscape. It has a distinct character yet fits well with its surroundings.

OCO L1500 is 114.3 mm in diameter. The height is 900 mm or 960 mm depending on installation.

The light distribution is wide beam as standard and suitable for paths. OCO L1500 casts a wide pool of light, with a triangular shadow from the post falling behind it. The bollard design thus ensures that the light falls where it is needed and light pollution is avoided. The light can be supplied with DALI or other types of lighting controls and dimming.

The bollard is also available with other light distribution options. We are happy to advise on the possibilities for customising the light for your specific project. The colour temperature of the light – a warm or cool look – can also be adjusted as desired.

OCO L1500 is available with a clean, hot-dip galvanised surface or a black powder coating. Other colours are available. We can apply a powder coating in any RAL colour.

Simple, modern designer bollard

The simple, clean-cut shape of OCO L1500 adds interest and stimulates curiosity in daylight with its balancing cylinders, while offering atmospheric lighting with excellent functional properties after dark.

Cobe is a Copenhagen-based design studio with a strong focus on responsible use of the planet’s resources. OCO L1500 is Cobe’s first light for Lampas.
