Skanderborg Bakker

The cohesive plan for the Skanderborg Bakker residential development was created by Arkitema Architects, who included the terrain and the view of Skanderborg Lake in the plan. The area is characterised by diverse terraced houses and residential buildings, positioned to allow the natural, sloping landscape between the buildings to come into its own.

When it was time to furnish the outdoor areas, the architect contacted Lampas to collaborate in the development. It was the beginning of a long and fruitful collaboration regarding lighting, and the OUTFIT series with the bollard light, wall light and mailbox were included in Lampas’ selection.

The homes are equipped with OUTFIT L900 wall lights by the doors and recessed OUTFIT mailboxes. Along roads, paths and car parks, the pedestrian is guided on his/her way by the COVER L702 bollard and QUINTUS L500 post light.

The combination of different lighting products provides a variety of lighting experiences in the residential area. The wall lights spread decorative light up and down on the walls, while bollards and post lights cast spots of light at different heights. The lighting interacts attractively with the greenery and the varied architecture throughout the area.
