This retrofit kit is suitable for the ADDO L95 post light and the ADDO L95 MINI bollard, both designed by Friis & Moltke Design. The two lights have a distinctive look that is timeless and durable, but if lights were bought many years ago, the lighting technology inside will often be outdated. With an LED upgrade kit, existing lights can be given a new lease of life, while retaining the design qualities of the light.

In addition, it’s very easy to replace the lighting technology in the ADDO lights.

In the original design, the lighting technology is attached to the top plate and so lifts out when the top plate is lifted. The LED kit is similarly an all-in-one unit attached to the top plate. Therefore, replacement is simply a matter of undoing the screws securing the top plate, lifting out the lighting technology, inserting a new top plate with lighting technology attached and screwing it into place.

Reuse your Friis & Moltke post light

The LED kit for Friis & Moltke lights is encased in a satiné plastic tube. The satiné finish diffuses the light, with no change to the light quality. The lamp is characterised by a vertical, rectangular field of light in the side of the square post, and the lighting experience following the LED upgrade remains true to the original light.

The replacement kit is suitable for ADDO lights with 1, 2, 3 or 4 light apertures. The light source was originally a compact fluorescent tube with power consumption of 55 W. With an LED replacement kit, consumption is reduced to 10 W per light aperture, i.e. a maximum of 40 W.

In addition to reducing power consumption, LED also substantially increases the useful life of the light source.

The retrofit kit can be supplied with a colour temperature of 3,000 or 4,000 Kelvin, depending on customer requirements.

LED retrofit for Lampas lights

Lights have often been selected to fit the surrounding architecture. Therefore it makes sense to retain the original light and simply upgrade the lighting technology to LED.

LED is the light source offering the lowest electricity consumption and the longest useful life. When upgrading from other light sources to LED, you are therefore not just saving on power.
