ADDO L96 LED RETROFIT KIT

This LED retrofit kit is suitable for the ADDO L96 bollard light from Friis & Moltke Design. The kit makes it easy to upgrade existing lights to LED. Only the lighting technology is replaced, while the rest of the light is reused.

The light source in ADDO L96 is replaced by removing the square tube. This allows easy access to the lighting technology components of the bollard light.

ADDO L96 is a bollard with its own distinctive look. It is characteristic of the Friis & Moltke style with its simple, square post. This light is often chosen to complement surrounding building or landscape architecture.

Its timeless design and durable materials offer great potential for retaining and reusing the light with new lighting technology. ADDO L96 was originally fitted with a compact fluorescent tube. When the light source is upgraded to LED, this gives the light a new lease of life for many years to come, retaining the connection between lighting and architecture.

LED retrofit kit for Friis & Moltke light

The LED replacement kit is available for ADDO L96 lights with both 1 and 2 light apertures. The LED unit is positioned behind a satiné acrylic plate that diffuses the light. There is no change to the light quality.

Power consumption of the original compact fluorescent tube was 24 W. With an LED retrofit, this is reduced to 7 W for a single-sided light and 14 W for a double-sided version.

In addition to reducing power consumption, LED also substantially increases the useful life of the light source.

The retrofit kit can be supplied with a colour temperature of 3,000 or 4,000 Kelvin, depending on customer requirements.

LED retrofit for Lampas lights

Lights have often been selected to fit the surrounding architecture. Therefore it makes sense to retain the original light and simply upgrade the lighting technology to LED.

LED is the light source offering the lowest electricity consumption and the longest useful life. When upgrading from other light sources to LED, you are therefore not just saving on power.
