The BALLO L807 hangs like a classic, domed lampshade in the townscape.
As post lights go, the BALLO L807 is one of the more inviting and welcoming types, that creates a pleasant atmosphere around it. When illuminated, its white, vaulted screen creates a unique silhouette quite unlike anything else you’ll find in street lighting. Like the BALLO L804-500 for indoor use, the BALLO L807 blends in while illuminating its surroundings well.
The BALLO L807 is a very different type of street light that provides a unique experience, not only after sunset, but also during the daylight hours. Place it in residential areas, in shopping centres and car parks where the focus is on creating a welcoming environment for passersby.
The BALLO series was designed by Cubo Architects in 2000. The series has since been upgraded with energy-efficient LED technology.
The post light consists of a post in hot-dip galvanised steel which can be supplied powder coated in any RAL colour. The combination of a black post and white screen creates an effective contrast. The post can be supplied in three heights – 3.5 m, 4 m and 5 m.
The screen is made of polycarbonate and prismatic extruded acrylic. The materials are shockproof, so the BALLO L807 can withstand urban wear and tear.
The BALLO series includes a total of three indoor and outdoor lighting products. The softly curved, domed shape is repeated in all three lights.
To create a link between the exterior and interior environments, the BALLO L807 can be supplemented with the pendant BALLO L804 in aluminium, or the large pendant BALLO L804-500, which is suitable for use as functional lighting in large spaces.
The BALLO Series was designed by Cubo Arkitekter in 2000.
“Lights should be designed to be visible and to add quality to the overall experience of a room’s interior,” says Cubo Arkitekter. Their collaboration with Lampas began in 1998.
