ANTO L1014 POST LIGHT

Design: VE2

The ANTO L1014 post light in corten steel adds a warm, rust-red design feature to locations near dwellings and other buildings. Or why not opt for a hot-dip galvanised, powder-coated steel version – for a solid, black silhouette?

The fitting takes the form of a short, conical cylinder. A shape reminiscent of a classic lampshade, modernised and simplified. The light itself is modest in size relative to the post – Ø 200 mm. All in all, ANTO L1014 presents a pleasant and welcoming impression, and at the same time is unmistakably well designed.

The shade features a wide, welded rim. The slightly chubby dimensions give ANTO L1014 a robust and solid look. The post, arm and light itself create a harmonious whole, coordinating in terms of both thickness and material.

ANTO L1014 is supplied with the light on a perpendicular arm or with two lights in a symmetrical configuration. See also ANTO L1016, which is a post that can accommodate one or more rotatable ANTO-design spotlights.

Corten-steel post with LED light

The ANTO L1014 post light can be made entirely from corten steel. The special alloy that turns steel into corten steel causes the surface layer to rust. The process stops after a certain point, and the layer of rust then provides protection against rain, moisture and further rust. We produce ANTO L1014 using 3 mm tubular corten steel.

We can also supply ANTO L1014 in hot-dip galvanised steel. This can furthermore be powder coated. Powder coating takes place at our own painting facility in Kolding, Denmark, and is available in a RAL colour of your choice to suit the specific business or residential area.

ANTO L1014 is available in three heights in both weathering/corten steel and hot-dip galvanised steel – 3150 mm, 3650 mm and 4150 mm. On conical masts, the ANTO L1014 can be supplied in hot-dip galvanised steel and in heights 3200 mm, 3700 mm and 4200 mm.

The optics of ANTO L1014 are fully adjustable as needed. The light can be configured for circular light distribution, which is ideally suited for illuminating a park or car park. If ANTO L1014 is to be used for street lighting, it can be configured for asymmetrical light distribution with wide dispersion to the sides. Colour temperature and luminosity can also be tailored to the specific location. Get in touch with our lighting consultants for a chat about the available options.

Street light with low light pollution

ANTO L1014 is Dark Sky Approved by DarkSky International. This means that the lamp with the right settings can be used to create a dark-friendly lighting, where blue light, light spill and light pollution are reduced for the benefit of biodiversity and stargazers.

The ANTO range has been designed by Danish design studio VE2. The aim was to create a post light to complement the NYE bollard, with a modern, Scandinavian look and made from corten steel.

ANTO is therefore a lighting range created with corten steel in mind. The design was developed in collaboration with Lampas in 2020, which is also when the first lights were installed.
