With its diamond shape like a polished prism, the FACET L104 bollard light lives up to its name – an image that is created by the unique way in which the light flows down over the light.
The geometric shapes of the FACET L104 add an attractive element to paths and car parks, not only when it is switched on at night, but also when its sculpted form is visible in the daytime. The triangular light surfaces point towards or away from each other, depending on which side of the lamp you are standing. In other words, the way in which you´ll experience the FACET L104 will change as you move around it.
The FACET L104 is one of our most robust bollard lights. The square post with diagonal partitions makes the structure especially stable, while the screen of impact-resistant polycarbonate is protected under the steel top. Use the FACET L104 in car parks and in residential areas where there is a special need for impact- or vandal-proof lighting, and where the lighting is also intended to be decorative element.
The FACET L104 is supplied with a cross-section size of 20 x 20 cm as standard. It is also available in a smaller and lighter version, the FACET L104 MINI, which measures 15 x 15 cm.
The top and bottom of the FACET L104 is made of hot-dip galvanised steel. The triangles that act as reflectors are made of seawater-resistant aluminium (silumin). Therefore, the FACET L104 bollard is also suitable for ports, marinas and beach promenades.
It was designed in 1988 by architect, Jan Fugl, and silver engraver, Kai Hansen.
I de to designeres samarbejde er ambitionen at opnå den optimale syntese mellem form, materiale og funktion.
