LIGHTHOUSE l209 has been inspired by the maritime environment. The bollard is tapered in shape like a lighthouse and ends in a rounded top. It can be supplied in untreated cast iron, with the rust finish conjuring up thoughts of a harbour mooring ring. It has a character all of its own, and blends attractive round elements with a heavy industrial base. The LIGHTHOUSE l209 bollard can be used in a variety of environments, ranging from waterfronts to cobbled areas.
The bollard emits a soft light with rotationally symmetrical distribution through two openings, which direct the light out and down. This is one of our most robust outdoor lamps. The use of untreated cast iron means the bollard requires no maintenance, and the rust patina is intended to be decorative without affecting the lamp’s durability.
The LIGHTHOUSE l209 bollard is 100 cm tall and has a polycarbonate lamp cover. In addition to untreated cast iron, it is available in treated cast iron and powder coated in a choice of colours.
In architect Peter Bysted’s view, exterior lighting should compliment the space it illuminates, not dominate it. He’s the man behind some of Lampas’ greatest successes.
