NYE L1001 is a high-quality square wall light that adds character to a façade, with its well-thought-out Danish design in high-grade materials.

NYE L1001 is a unique product. It takes the form of a cube on the wall. In daylight, it looks like a design object, in particular being a single colour. While in the evening, it provides illumination for a front door or front steps. As an extra detail, the designers have included a light aperture in the base, shining light down the wall.

The wall light is part of the NYE range and can easily be combined with bollards from the same range: NYE L1002, NYE L1003 or NYE L1004. In 2020, the range, designed by Aarhus-based studio VE2, won a Red Dot: Best of the Best Award in the category ‘Lighting & Lamps’.

Danish-designed square wall light

NYE L1001 is made of hot-dip galvanised steel, with the option of powder coating.

Its compact, square shape is perfect for adding a touch of colour. We can supply NYE L1001 in any RAL colour, to complement the shade of your façade. When matching NYE L1001 with corten-steel post lights or bollards, we recommend corten paint rather than corten steel for the wall light to avoid the risk of rust.

The light distribution is symmetrical and forward-directed. Choose NYE L1001 with a colour temperature of 3,000 or 4,000 Kelvin.

Wall light in modern Nordic design

VE2 have created the NYE range in a modern, Nordic style with no unnecessary details. Simple and timeless lights that can be used in both contemporary and classic settings.

This light has been produced in a mono-material, steel, and can easily be disassembled and recycled once it reaches the end of its useful life.
