NYE L1003 is a large, cube-shaped bollard light that creates an inviting space wherever it is installed. With dimensions of 420 x 420 mm, NYE L1003 serves as a striking feature in the landscape or in urban spaces. With the right choice of colour this large cube can be the perfect complement to surrounding architecture.

The light can be described as a cube with cut-out wedges on two sides. Light spills from an invisible light source in the top of the bollard, illuminating the surfaces of the cube and creating a fan-shaped pool of light on the ground.

NYE L1003 is available in corten steel, which gives it a warm look in rust red. It is also available in hot-dip galvanised steel, with the option of powder coating. We can supply NYE L1003 in any RAL colour, providing a striking cube to add a touch of colour to your landscape or interior.

This cube light is large enough to sit on. It is also available in a version with wooden slats – NYE L1004, a cube seat with integral light.

Thanks to its size, NYE L1003 can be used to create inviting outdoor spaces in settings such as town squares, waterfronts and parks. It can harmonise with larger buildings and open squares.

This bollard light is vandal-proof and can stand up to use by countless different people in busy urban areas. All material options are durable for use in outdoor urban and coastal environments.

The light distribution is directly symmetrical, with light directed forward and back.

NYE L1003 can be combined with the square NYE L1001 wall light or the rectangular NYE L1002 bollard from the same range. You can also pair it with the NYE L1004 bollard with wooden seat.

Aarhus-based design studio VE2 have created the NYE range in a modern, Nordic style with no unnecessary details. This simple and timeless bollard light can be used in both contemporary and classic settings.

In 2020, the NYE lighting range received a Red Dot: Best of the Best Award in the category ‘Lighting & Lamps’. NYE L1003 is also certified as Dark Sky Approved outdoor lighting, ensuring a low level of light pollution and light spill for the benefit of wildlife and stargazers.

NYE L1003 is made from a mono-material, steel, and can be easily disassembled and recycled once it reaches the end of its useful life.
